Smt. Ramya Alex

Natya Kala Ratna, Natya Mani Smt. Ramya Alex is a versatile artist whose passion for dance had begun at the age of 5, discipled from Kalai Kaveri Fine Arts, Trichy. She molded her skills further under the training of her Guru, Smt. Manju at Trichy and joined hands with Guru Smt. Karthiyayini Srinivas at Chennai, for the performances in most of the renowned sabhas of Chennai and Natyanjali.

Holding a master’s degree in Business Administration and completing her master’s degree in Bharathanatiyam at TamilNadu University, she also completed her PG Diploma in Yoga at Tamil Nadu Sports University and became a Certified Yoga teacher. Her endless pursuit made her learn Nattuvangam under Smt. Marie Stella and Smt. Kavitha Charles. The flow goes with the art of Kuchipudi under the guidance of Guru Dr. Madhavi Mallampalli.

Passion in dance and profession in IT, continues to be an aspiring self and an inspiring teacher for her students at the AR ACADEMY OF DANCE, established in 2017 at Kodambakkam, Chennai. As a dream come true, she built her own Dance Studio at Gerugambakkam last year and running successfully. Other than offline classes she trains students online from the United States, Sweden, Dubai, London, Australia also other places in India like Kerala, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Andhra Pradesh, Salem, Trichy, Coimbatore, Vellore and Mannargudi.

Zeal's contribution for arts reflects in the participation of 3 World Record Program along with her students and continues to motivate them. She also gives opportunities for deserving students to perform in various Sabhas & competitions. Students will attend their Bharathanatiyam grade exam, Competition and many stage shows. She also had a privilege to be in a Judging Panel for many Dance Competitions Conducted by Nathella Vithyodaya, JV school, Ramachandra Medical College, South India’s Dance Talents and so on. Her students performed in TV shows like Makkal TV, Captain TV, Vendhar TV.
