Mrs.Thilagavathy, the founder of the Parvathy Natyalaya is classical dancer, teacher and choreographer, having a vast experience of 15years , cultivated the love of Music, Bharathanatyam amongst her students and audiences for over 7years.Through Parvathy Natyalaya Thilagavathy plans to realize her vision of unification of the artists skill and devotion to achieve an integrated development of the individual,the community and the world. Her love of the art and her deep understanding of it are reflected in her presentations. She had active participation in the 7th South Asian Federation Games-cultural programme in 1995and also choreographed "Nalavazhuvu Montage Song" for Doordarshan All India Radio on 2006.She has been titled as Nattiyacharya,Nirtha Sudarmani, Sangeetha Natya kala Seva Acharya etc.
Parvathy Natyalaya has been honored with the Best Natyalaya Academy Award 2017 by "Kalai Koodam.
