Started learning the art from Guru Smt. Uma Maheswari at the age of 7.Further got 2 years Training from Guru.Smt.Dhakshayani Ramachandran. 2 years of training from Dr.Padma Subrahmanyan. Started S.K. Natya Kala Niketan, a dance school in Madipakkam in the year 1998, which is indeed a boon to lovers of Bharatha natyam in and around the area. She has groomed more than 500 students completed Salangai Pooja for 100 students and Arangetram for 25 students. More than 150 students are learning Bharathanatyam in her Academy. Her excellence was proved by her students winning many prizes in various dance competitions, who have been regularly performing in and around the temples of Madipakkam. She was created a Guinness World Record holder by Raba Media.
